7.3.10

Today's locomotive was Atlas, and the train ran busy all day. We didn't have a single empty train until the very last trip returning to the shed.

The V skip has been loaded into the trailer and is almost ready for display, just the displays to go inside the skip body required now to complete. It looked very good this afternoon outside in the sunshine.

The muir hill has had the bits of its chassis painted with red oxide where it was missing, and the unpainted wheelset has been brought to the front of the shed for cleaning and painting, and a start has been made on this as well. Also the Gogo tractor's carburetter has been cleaned out, in readiness for it to be in action next weekend.

NEXT WEEKEND

Narrow Gauge North railway exhibition, and our own Diesel Gala, where all locos will be out and sharing the passenger train in various combinations.
